Something in the Air

A PG premiere is coming down the pipe for the Jermyn Street Theatre in October (https://www.jermynstreettheatre.co.uk/show/something-in-the-air/).

The invaluable WBI time machine (passim) has reminded me that it was originally scheduled for the same month two years ago, before Covid planted a limpet mine on it. No news it seems on his new version of Chekhov's Three Sisters which was due to come kicking and screaming into the world at the same time.

Any road, he is still due to be co-directing Something in the Air with Alice Hamilton* which considering that lately it takes ordnance that would be better employed in Ukraine even to prise him out of his flat, can only be a good thing.

*Alice Hamilton co-founded the "Up in Arms" theatre company with Barney Norris who wrote To Bodies Gone: The Theatre of Peter Gill. I love it when a plan comes together.
