Hunter is captured by the game

PG has finished casting his play. Helen tipped me a whimsical wink about the film above because he had thought at one time that Laurence Fox might have been good in one of the roles.

There's a lot to unpick here. First © Brietbart TV. Breitbart News Network, is a syndicated right wing news and opinion website (Wikipedia). It might seem a bit of a stretch for them to be getting into the movie business, but they are not alone. The Daily Wire is an American conservative news website and media company founded in 2015 by Breitbart alumnus Ben Shapiro and Jeremy Boreing. As far as I can tell it started as a vehicle for Boering to direct and produce Shapiro's podcast, but it has grown like topsy since then with a whole movie slate at https://www.dailywire.com/watch/movies

The slate includes Terror on the Prairie:
Gina Carano is back. Disney canceled her. Now, the un-canceling begins. Gina makes her return in this gritty new western and original feature film by The Daily Wire. On the Montana plains, a frontier woman must protect herself against a ruthless gang of outlaws hell-bent on revenge.
Gina Carano, you will have noticed is also in My Son Hunter. She first appeared on the spindrift pages coming up for fifteen years ago, when Ben was training in muay Thai and she was the first real break out female Thai boxer. It was very muich a minority interest back then. Since then she has had a movie and TV career that shuddered to a halt when she became embroiled in the sort of alt-right controversy alluded to above. The details elude me.

Robert Davi, the director, of course is remembered by all right thinking people as the villain in the Timothy Dalton James Bond film Licence to Kill.

One swallow doesn't make a summer, but something is stirring in America's loins. Something very different, I think, from what Joe Biden was referring to in that strange Philadelphia speech earlier this week.
