Taking my lead from Dave Winer, I have set up an OpenID and added some code to the HEAD tag in the HTML on http://nickbrowne.coraider.com in this weblog that declares that the web page in question is owned by the owner of http://nickbrowne.myopenid.com/ and furthermore http://www.myopenid.com/server may be used to verify ownership of http://nickbrowne.myopenid.com/.

Granted I have no very clear idea the immediate benefit of this, but the Internet really needs a robust identity system so I'm prepared to cast my bread upon the waters and check pretty much anything out.
