I sponsored the club's games last week and past and present players gathered to celebrate my father's captaincy of the Illts fifty years ago in the 1956/57 season.My cousin found a photo of him in action from that very campaign so here he is on the left with an Elvis quiff and, what appears to be, Koala bear eye make up.
