We went to see the touring version of The King and I at the New Wimbledon Theatre earlier this week. It was fantastic. The girl who played Anna in place of Helen George was called Maria Coyne. I thought she was top notch and I had never previously heard of Helen George so you won't get any complaints from me.
Why don't I go to the venue more as an alternative to tubing it into the West End? A beautiful Grade II listed building over a century old with an immense seating capacity, It is surely one of the premiere venues in London.
