Rutlish School policies aim to provide staff, pupils, parents and guardians with clear information with regards to the standards of behaviour. These policies enable us to work together safely and efficiently. We aim to promote a peaceful and productive environment. Consequently, certain rules are required to in order to perpetuate this environment, which can be broadly summarised under two headings: respect for others and respect for property. Anti-social, unpleasant and selfish behaviour are, naturally, unacceptable in all societies, as they are at Rutlish School. Furthermore, destructive behaviour such as bullying, stealing, or drug abuse are unacceptable and therefore never tolerated. Our policies are detailed in the Handbook for Parents, which are also sent to the parents of all new students. The most recent version can always be found here on the School's website. If you would like a replacement printed copy of the Handbook for Parents, please contact the Main Office. This is my journal as well as a blog.
