Strategy Tax

10 months into netbooks, I have given up on Linux and gone back to Windows XP. I just got fed up of not being able to run stuff like the motionbased agent, Nokia PC Suite etc. with out messing about with WINE.

Ironically it is just as Chris has launched himself into the self same territory.

I am deliberately sneaking the story out on a weekend.

Story spotted!
Still loving the netbook. It does exactly what it says on the tin - I can surf, email, & facebook, all on the go.
The master plan is to take this away to France this summer, to chat to Hari via the MSN-alike chat app, check out the weather, plan visits, etc. all from the tent! (The campsite WIFI reaches a fair bit of the site)
I don't think trying to run XP on my machine, with a tiny 512mb ram, & 8GB flash drive would work.

"If it ain't broke don't fix it." I'm glad the set up works for you. I seem to recall hearing a whisper that the the new Acer Aspire Ones are all Windows though.
