I heard some fine jazz piano on Radio Three as I was channel hopping on the way home from work on Friday.
It turned out to be a guy called Gwilym Simcock (born 24 February 1981 in Bangor, Gwynedd).

(Strange to see that it is more than five years -see Icons passim - since I fell for Keith Jarrett's ivory tinkling in exactly the same way.)
