LEGENDARY Welsh jockey, thriller writer and wartime Spitfire pilot Dick Francis has died at his Caribbean home aged 89.Well I never. Dick Francis was Welsh. The first WBI of the new decade is hereby inaugurated.
The writer, born in the Pembrokeshire village of Lawrenny, near Tenby, died in Grand Cayman at the weekend.
