I wait patiently, with no urgency. I have been granted all the time there is. I do not try to make anything of what I see. I hold no expectation or assumption that I know anything at all.

The Hundred-Year-Old Man .........
When I picked the Bomber up on Sunday, I asked him - by way of conversation - if he had watched any good films as he flew back over the Atlantic. He told me that he had very much enjoyed The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared.
I watched it last night as it was free on Amazon Prime. I'd already read the novel in 2014, because I've already read everything dahling!
The kooky pic should be a welcome arthouse counter-programmer for those wary of heavier foreign imports, said Variety of this multi-lingual, largely sub-titled, Swedish black comedy. Nothing changes (Icons passim), he has been recommending quirky indies to me since he was seven years old.
Only if and when Mike Leigh ever directs a Jason Statham vehicle, will the son and heir and I finally be able to agree on a evening's movie entertainment without compromise.
