AbbeyFest kicked off for another year on Friday night. The
local MP was up on our balcony, but I couldn't persuade her to have a drink on us. I know various scandals continue to cast long shadows but surely being in my pocket to the tune of pinot grigio (one glass thereof) needn't be a matter for the
Register of Members' Interests.
