Silence

Martin Scorsese's latest is out today. Two hours and forty minutes of faith, doubt and apostasy as Jesuits confront suffering and God’s silence in 17th century Japan.

I may have to come to terms with going to see it on my own. I can't immediately think of anyone else who would jump at the opportunity to crunch popcorn and slurp cola through 160 minutes of Marty wrestling with the great unanswerable spiritual and existential questions.
