Welcome to my world

Jim Dale was brilliant last night. Is there anything more rewarding than dutifully turning up at a gig with no great expectations only to be astounded. Seventy nine years old, limber and wasp waisted, Oscar nominated song writer, colleague of Olivier etc. etc. Who knew?

It's not given to all of us to be doing so well at that time of life.
